Monogram for your business card
Using the Direct Selection Tool:
1. Use the video below to create the monogram in the video below.
2. Create a monogram for yourself (first initial first name, first initial last name).
3. Show me both on screen in class.
4. Use the monogram (your name) in your business card
Business Card for a Freelance Graphic Designer:
You are going to create a business card for yourself as a freelance graphic designer.
Things to include:
-Your personalized logo that you created last week. (2 marks)
- leave a SPACE for a MONOGRAM (we will learn how to create it later this week)
-The correct dimensions of a business card: 3.5" x 2.0" (1 marks)
-Layout and composition (what to do? follow the video below) (2 marks)
-A phone number *use the school phone number (204) 275-7520 (1 marks)
-An email address *use your school email OR another email as long it is professional/appropriate/active (1 marks)
-A website address using this format: [email protected] (1 marks)

Follow the tutorial below to learn how to make textured 3D text.
Dimensions of your artboard are
Width: 10"
Height: 2"
Each letter needs to be angled in a different direction from the last.
Decide if you want to use the same material and colour for all letters or make it different.
Fill the Artboard and align it appropriately and be mindful of spacing between letters, similar to the example below.
Your audience must be able to read it clearly.
Export as a PNG and hand in on Edsby.
