May 14th, 2024 - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
1. Select the pictures (8) you want printed for the Film and Photography Night.
3. Open your pictures in Photoshop and use the Crop Tool to resize them. The 4 x 6 pictures do not need to be cropped. You will have to resize the 5x7's and 8x 10. You must use original pictures. Do not take the pictures off your weebly page.
4. Rename your pictures using the following filenames:
Last Name First Name_8x10
Last Name First Name_8x10
Last Name First Name_1_5x7
Last Name First Name_2_5x7
Last Name First Name_1_4x6
Last Name First Name_2_4x6
Last Name First Name_3_4x6
Last Name First Name_4_4x6
5. Transfer them to the teacher USB for printing. Make sure you place them in the correct folder.
- Do NOT include most Photoshop, texture, aperture in the classroom with class props or pinwheel assignments.
- be careful when selecting pictures with people in it
- select landscape and portrait orientation
- 4 x 6 pictures - think about how they are going to look grouped together
- 8 x 10 should be your favorite/best photo
- pictures can be 6 x 4, 7 x 5 or 10 x 8 depending on the orientation
- use filenames below

- Menu - shooting menu (camera) - ISO Sensitivity Settings - Auto ISO Sensitivity - OFF (bottom option)
- If it's ON, the camera will likely override your chosen ISO setting.
- Click on the information button twice
- Using the arrows go to the ISO setting
- Select the appropriate ISO
- Practice taking pictures with different ISO settings in the classroom. For the assignment, try using 1/80 Shutter Priority Mode for all pictures.
