Interactive Website Assignment 3: Breakfast Restaurant (PART B)
Many online applications (or apps) are replacing traditional software necessary to be downloaded on a computer. There are several free
alternatives to Photoshop for editing photos, such as Pixlr.
1. You cannot use any template images any more, even for backgrounds.
2. You must size each of your photos to be the same for your site.
3. Simple image enhancements (lighten/darken) can be used for manipulating background images used. USE PIXLR (LINK BELOW) OR PHOTOSHOP.
4. Change at least two rules from HTML/CSS rules for your template (i.e. link colour, background, etc.) and identify what those changes are.
5. Add Google Analytics to track user data for your site and share it with me (imarynovsky@gmail.com). You must have 10 visitors from outside of class, make sure at least one is a visitor using a mobile device. (NOTE: if this does not work, we will cover it when I come back!)
6. You must include a banner image that uses your business name.
7. You must change all of the fonts associated with your template to an appropriate web font of your choice (remember to maintain consistency). You must identify which what you changed.
SURVEY MONKEY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Create an account at www.Surveymonkey.com
*Use an actual email in case you forget the username and/or password.
2. To conduct some market research, create a five question survey related to the menu items on your website.
*All questions must be multiple choice with either multiple answers or one answer.
*Not permitted to use open-ended answer options.
3. Preview your survey to make sure each question works properly and is free of errors in spelling and grammar.
4. Your survey for your restaurant must have FOUR questions relevant to your restaurant that your visitors are instructed to complete. You will be sharing the results of your survey using the snipping tool.
